Fairfax, Virginia, July 14, 2016, Tara Berman, Vice President of Sev1Tech, has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide, for dedication, achievement and leadership in enterprise and technically complex information technology infrastructure programs.

Ms. Berman entered the data and information technology field in the 1990s, bringing to the field her strong natural ability to spot salient details in work proceedings. She joined Sev1Tech in 2010 as an IT Task Lead, and through the years has worked up to the position of vice president. In this position, Ms. Berman is responsible for providing on time, and within budget results to the infrastructure design, implementation and integration projects. It is her responsibility to deliver strategic plans, and assess and execute process-driven solutions to meet clients’ needs. Her work delivers results for clients such as the U.S. Military, the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office, the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Coast Guard. She manages the build-out, implementation, maintenance and support of the information technology infrastructure for a large geo-spatial processing of satellite data/imaging for the commercial market.

Since her professional career began, Ms. Berman has always set out to prove her worth and importance in the position. With the support from industry mentors, she learned vast information about the field from her supervisors. Her training and years of experience have lead to a career filled with successes. She has been driven to this success by the motivation from her two children. With the desire to set positive examples, she looks to instill a good work ethic in them by demonstrating what hard work looks like. Outside of work, she is a licensed national soccer coach, and enjoys both playing and coaching the sport.
