Toronto, ON, April 8, 2016, Andrea Marie Hampton, Director of Business Development and Sales for Molnlycke Health Care, has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide for her achievements, dedication and leadership in human resources.

Following 15 years working in the financial services industry as a VP, Ms. Hampton took the opportunity to utilize her skills in a new capacity in the health care field. Having previously held a board seat for her local hospital, it was a natural progression for her to join the team at Molnlycke Health Care, a medical technology company that provides wound care and single-use surgical products. Brought on as a member of the executive team reporting to the CEO, Ms. Hampton has been instrumental in providing change management and  programs to help improve inefficiencies throughout the company’s global organization.

As a woman in today’s workplace, Ms. Hampton advises that the easiest way to be successful is to develop a unique combination of skills through different experiences. In her own experience, she garnered skills in business development, sales and marketing, which has given her a unique approach to her work in human resources. Ms. Hampton also tells young women professionals to remember that “everything that you do will lead you to the next opportunity you are destined to encounter.” For Ms. Hampton, finding balance is essential for the smooth operation of any workplace regardless of industry. To stay at the top of the human resources field, Ms. Hampton is active with the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) and Advocis Association.

Ms. Hampton’s many successes over the last two decades have been supported by her educational background. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Toronto and a diploma in industrial relations and human resources. Additionally, she is a certified human resources professional and a licensed life insurance agent. As she looks ahead, Ms. Hampton anticipates that she will grow her expertise in the health care field as it pertains to her role with Molnlycke.
