Her hard work and dedication have helped her to be nominated for Woman of the Year from the National Association of Professional Women in 2011 and 2012. St Luke’s Behavioral Health Hospital is a 124-bed facility that provides mental health services with inpatient and outpatient care for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Ms. Mehta leads the nursing staff with an open door policy and facilitates a trusting relationship built with communication and mutual respect. She takes into consideration their ideas and input into making the services at St Luke’s even better, such as implementing an evidenced-based therapeutic care. On top of her work at St Luke’s, she also supports United Way. In the coming years, Ms. Mehta hopes to be a chief executive officer.
