As a professor of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Donna Harler specializes in vocal training. Originally, she says, she wanted to study the piano, but moved into voice because she felt that her hands were too small to master the instrument. She feels that her greatest strengths are her empathetic spirit and patience, as well as her ability to feel along with my students as they learn to find their authentic voice. Looking ahead, her professional goal is to teach at the university for one more year, move to Colorado and continue teaching. She also hopes to find meaningful volunteer work.
