Ms. McCrae is adept at taking struggling companies and making them profitable, as well as helping large and small businesses meet the challenges of growth, change and reorganization.

Ms. McCrae has had the opportunity to work in a variety of industries and businesses, including agriculture, construction, manufacturing, finance, forestry, retail and service. She was instrumental in establishing start-up financial controls for a large abattoir and led the quality improvement process during the initial years of operation, in addition to her accounting position. Additionally, Ms. McCrae was involved in the successful start-up of Downie Timber as controller quickly establishing financial controls during the critical first year of operation.

Looking back, Ms. McCrae attributes her success to her tenacity and natural business sense, as well as being observant. She became involved in her profession because she has been in business for more than 30 years, helping startups and turning businesses around. An entrepreneur in spirit, she enjoys assisting others through strategic planning to improve and grow their business. Ms. McCrae has worked for some larger companies, through growth, change, reorganization and start-ups.
