Distinguished for more than three decades of military service, Ms. Scheffler recently retired from military service following a lengthy career with the U.S. Air Force. In recent years, she has dedicated her time to Georgia’s Country Girl, her own blossoming business that addresses multiple aspects of the local and regional agricultural industry. As the owner of the company, she is responsible for growing produce and selling it at the farmer’s market, in addition to training horses, raising cattle and goats, and brood raising hatchlings until they are 5 months old. When she isn’t busy managing the farm, Ms. Scheffler also creates specialty cookies for a national client base.
