Ms. Torres has 37 years of professional experience, with eight years as an artistic director of The Dramatic Question Theatre. Pursuant to her interest in the art of theater, Ms. Torres specializes in historical research focusing on 15th Century Europe, 18th Century France, and late-19th Century Eastern Europe. Each day, she is responsible for casting, producing and developing plays.
Ms. Torres spent the first year with the company in residence at SoHo Playhouse. Her upcoming production is on June 14. She is in the process of starting an outreach program for younger playwrights. She attributes her success to her perseverance and patience. She became involved in her profession because she wanted to write plays since she was 16 years old. In years to come, Ms. Torres would like to develop and produce more plays. She wants to broaden her arts and entertainment network in the New York City area.
