Retired after nearly four decades of teaching, Ms. Williams still has many plans for the future. After working as a bus aide and bus driver, she earned her teaching certificate and taught second grade and other elementary levels. Largely supported by her faith in God, Ms. Williams plans on opening the B Holland Williams Academy. Her career in education has awarded her Teacher of the Month awards, Grade Level Chairperson Award, and certificates and plaques for more than 30 years of service in the school system. In addition, she is licensed as the first female preacher among the Baptists arena at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church.
