With more than 37 years of combined professional experience, Ms. Ochoa has spent the last eight working in an operational role in the nonprofit behavioral health services sector. As chief of medical operations, she facilitates collaboration among state agencies and community-based organizations while also coordinating and staffing the governor’s commission to prevent violence against women. Additionally, Ms. Ochoa integrates primary care into behavioral mental health substance abuse services.

Ms. Ochoa is considered an expert in conflict resolution and mediation as it pertains to mental health. She is also regarded for her work in systems development, strategic planning and contract negotiation. To support her career, she holds an MBA with an emphasis in health care administration from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University.
