The same year, Ms. Devlin co-founded the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (FAF), an international travel and exchange program.

Prior to opening Cappy’s Travel, Ms. Devlin worked at Reader’s Digest in the editorial department. While working at the magazine, she was given a three and a half month leave of absence. In that time, Ms. Devlin made the decision to travel, which would ultimately alter the course of her life. She credits this experience with changing her view on life. A few years after this experience, Ms. Devlin entered the travel business.
