BLIND BAY, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA, January 10, 2017, Sue McCrae, President of Argyle Business Solutions Ltd., has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide, for dedication, achievement and leadership in business solutions.

Ms. McCrae has 37 years of professional experience, with 16 years as the President of Argyle Business Solutions Ltd. Throughout her career, she has set herself apart as an expert in strategic leadership, change management, accounting and finance. Ms. McCrae is adept at taking struggling companies and making them profitable, as well as helping large and small businesses meet the challenges of growth, change and reorganization.

Ms. McCrae has had the opportunity to work in a variety of industries and businesses, including agriculture, construction, manufacturing, finance, forestry, retail and service. She was instrumental in establishing start-up financial controls for a large abattoir and led the quality improvement process during the initial years of operation, in addition to her accounting position. Additionally, Ms. McCrae was involved in the successful start-up of Downie Timber as controller quickly establishing financial controls during the critical first year of operation.

Looking back, Ms. McCrae attributes her success to her tenacity and natural business sense, as well as being observant. She became involved in her profession because she has been in business for more than 30 years, helping startups and turning businesses around. An entrepreneur in spirit, she enjoys assisting others through strategic planning to improve and grow their business. Ms. McCrae has worked for some larger companies, through growth, change, reorganization and start-ups. An understanding gained through years of experience provides the base required to successfully assist her clients.

Volunteering for her community is very much a part of her life and she leads or is participating as a director for many not-for profit organizations, and is the Past President of Salmon Arm Rotary Club.

Ms. McCrae completed business management and accounting courses from Okanagan College and she has also completed coursework through Pitman Business College. Furthermore, she maintains affiliation with Toastmasters International. In years to come, Ms. McCrae would like to document and record some of the tricks of the trade she’s learned, and continue to work with more businesses.
