One of her greatest accomplishments has been turning a failing school into an academically sound institution. This was during her time as principal of the Inglenook K-8 school for 13 years. Looking toward the future, she intends to continue developing her nonprofit, as well as running for election for the congressional District 4 for education. She believes she can help more people benefit from the political side of education by obtaining more funding.
