Ms. Lawhorn has been in the insurance industry for nearly 30 years and has spent the past five years with Walker & Dunlop. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing all lending insurance programs, providing strategic guidance to internal departments and processing new and renewing businesses. Her work also entails educating borrowers about the plans. Ms. Lawhorn holds certifications in CIC, CPIW, AINS and CLP. She has been a member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals since 1997 and is a member of the CIC Society and the Society of CPCU.

Throughout the years, Ms. Lawhorn has worked for a multitude of companies that have allowed her to continue honing and developing her skills in the industry. She has worked as the supervisor of property and casualty for Wright & Co. and as vice president at Quest Training and Education. Additionally, she has contributed to the success of Clements International in the position of senior commercial lines customer service rep and at O’Donovan & Associates as a program support manager. At D.H. Lloyd she held the position of account manager. Ms. Lawhorn continues to develop her skills and endeavors to complete risk management courses. In addition, she enjoys teaching preliminary courses.
