Dr. Bryan has been with Florida Atlantic University since 1989, and in that time has course design in management, adult learning, aging and integration of technology to generations of students. Embracing the digital landscape, she is adept at implementing virtual learning communities and other new age technology-based tools. In addition to teaching in this area, Dr. Bryan researches and places focus on disenfranchised populations, aging, mentoring, informal learning and community-based collaborative.

After graduating from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in recreation and park management, Dr. Bryan earned a master’s degree in secondary school administration and supervision from The Citadel. She continued The University of Georgia to begin work towards a Ph.D., but completed the track at Florida Atlantic University. She earned an Education Doctorate in educational leadership and research methodology. Dr. Bryan is a well-accomplished professional, having more than 52 international, national and state referred journals, three books, and numerous conference presentation, training manuals and chapters. She has chaired more than 30 dissertations and is responsible for acquiring more than two million dollars in grant money.
