Dr. Drake launched the Cool Leadership company in 2014 and aims it toward company’s who want to build professional and proficient leaders. She calls upon her 30 years of experience as an academic consultant where she has worked with thousands of managers. During this time, she has come to understand the best methods needed to coach and train leaders that positively affect their teams and companies. With Cool Leadership, Dr. Drake keeps participants informed on the latest schools of thought in leadership and supports them in choosing and applying these skills. She uses webinars, personal coaching, courses and retreats to instruct the participants.

Dr. Drake prepared for her career in organizational change and development by first attending Exeter University to earn a Bachelor of Arts in economic history in 1972. She continued at Cranfield School of Management to earn both a Master of Business Administration and a Ph.D. in management development. From then on, Dr. Drake applied her expertise as a faculty member at Cranfield School of Management. She is also an executive director of the Master of Science in strategic leadership program at the school. In addition, she is professor of communication and organizational behavior at the Cyprus International Institute of Management. Prior to working in management education, she worked in marketing and information services. Additionally, she is a visiting lecturer at Mannheim Business School. Dr. Drake is celebrated for bringing art space teaching and psychotherapy into the business world.
