On a daily basis, Ms. Jussaume is noted for her abilities to work with a core faculty team developing the holistic nursing curriculum and teaching in the clinical nursing division. With her expertise in advanced practice nursing, family and community health and advanced practice holistic nursing, she has lead a successful career for the past 37 years. For the past decade, Ms. Jussaume has been with the MGH Institute of Health Professions, a graduate university that provides educational services for prospective nurse. With a steadfast ability to hold out against all odds, she has seen much success in her career, which she began showing interest in at a young age.

In Ms. Jussaume’s career, she is most proud of her decision to transition to a nurse practitioners’ role, where she has been able to help people physically, emotionally and spiritually. She was also the first person at MGFIHP to receive a national certification from AHNCC in advanced practice holistic nursing. This allows students in the program to take the AHNCC licensure exam. Ms. Jussaume prepared for this career by earning a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She continued to earn a master’s degree in family practice and community health from the same university. To stay connected within the industry she is a dual charter member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and a member of the Integrative Nursing Consortium of Greater Boston.
