Oregon City, Oregon, United States, July 27, 2016, Sue Thoens, Chief Executive Officer of SMT Enterprises, Inc., has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide, for dedication, achievement and leadership in entrepreneurship.

Some of Ms. Thoens best qualities are her reliability, communication, leadership and business acumen. She brings these skills to her latest venture, SMT Enterprises, Inc., a firm dedicated to empowering others through business opportunities. The firm specializes in online start-ups, coaching and mentoring, leadership development and social entrepreneurship. Working in a collaborative effort with a team of reputable peers, she has positioned herself to help impact generations of business owners. She endeavors to build strong leaders with strong beliefs, who are then able to use their power to rise up and accomplish great things. She hopes to grow the company to coach clients in 80 countries.

Prior to launching her own firm, Ms. Thoens worked for many years in sales and executive management. After corporate layoffs and restructuring hindered her career, she decided to focus on raising her family and working alongside her husband. With her husband passing in 2014, Ms. Thoens found her calling to return to work and realized her skills were a match for helping others their business goals. Ms. Thoens had graduated from the University of Vermont in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and mathematics.

In addition to running SMT Enterprises, Inc., Ms. Thoens is also worked toward developing 3 Ladies Agra. This project started with her husband, who in his journey to find a way to manage severe chronic pain, began creating a community medical marijuana garden. Her husband passed away before the garden was completed, and in memory of him and his fight, she took on the project despite no prior knowledge of cannabis, horticulture or facility operations. Since his death, she has worked on creating the indoor project and looks to expand it outdoors, as well as into the recreational market. In addition to developing this project, she participates in Breast Cancer Awareness, Campus Crusade for Christ, Food for the Hungry and the American Cancer Society. Furthermore, she is an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association, recognized for her contribution to family, career and community.
