As the chairman of a food pantry, Ms. Finnegan uses all of her education, skills and talents to help her local community. Known for her cordiality and sense of humor, she strives to make everyone’s day infinitely better. In her position, Ms. Finnegan helps provide food for more than 8,000 people a year, summing up to 96,000 individual meals. The Saco Food Pantry uses dry, frozen and refrigerated goods to help those in need.

Ms. Finnegan became involved with the Saco Food Pantry after retiring. She wanted to help others and pay forward the good fortune and success she has been met with in life. In addition to volunteering her time with the food pantry, she also supports the local fire station. She supports the local arts in Portland, Maine such as the museum and the symphony. Since working for the nonprofit and supporting the community, she must utilize the hours of the day so that production is maximized. She wishes she could have 40 hours a day to accomplish all that she dreams she could. Looking toward the future, she intends to keep busy and carry on with the work that she does.
