Ms. Carswell has nearly 40 years of experience, and for 20 of those years, she has owned and overseen her professional staffing company, FlexStaff Services, Inc. The company specializes in finding skilled professionals for employers in the manufacturing and distribution industries. In her role, Ms. Carswell oversees the employee training and management, human resources, sales, marketing, and job development and motivational programs. Her company has worked with some of the largest employers in the country, including Coca-Cola, du Pont, Weyerhaeuser, Rhone Poulenc and Toyota Motor Corporation. Ms. Carswell was recommended to enter the staffing industry after a sales representative highlighted her skills. Prior to launching her firm, she worked in direct sales. 

Driven by passion, both for developing people and for personal succession, Ms. Carswell holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Georgia State University. She is currently pursuing a senior professional human resources certification and is already certified by the WBE as a Woman-Owned Business. She maintains membership with the Society for Human Resource Management, Georgia Employers Association, the Local Chamber of Commerce and the American Staffing Association. She has been honored with the award for Top Diversified Owned Woman Business (2005-2009), Top 50 Women-Owned Businesses, the Top 100 Entrepreneurial Women and the Diversity Organization.
