Her networking skills are exceptionally important considering the fact that her company works with 180 countries to set procedures for customs.
Ms. Menon is grateful for the hard work her parents put in so she could have a good education. She earned a master’s degree in international strategy and diplomacy, which is important to have in her field. Ms. Menon moved her and her family to Brussels from Malaysia for her job. Learning the new language and culture has been a challenging yet rewarding experience for her. In the coming years, she looks toward finding a new and just as interesting position.
Ms. Menon is an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association, recognized for her contribution to family, career and community. She also holds numerous top performer awards. Prior to working for World Customs Organization, she was posted to the Malaysian Embassy in Brussels in 2002. In that position, she was the first female Customs Attaché. Ms. Menon also holds a LLB from the University of London and a degree in tourism from MAS Academy.
