Ms. Lampart entered the field of nursing based on very personal motivation. When she was 11 years old, her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, and defeated the disease. Several years later, her twin brother was diagnosed with HIV, his health did not recover and was then diagnosed with cancer and AIDS. At 18 years old, Ms. Lampart became a certified nurse’s aide, and a year later a licensed vocational nurse. Since then she earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Houston Baptist University. Ms. Lampart looks toward to earning a Master of Science in nursing and feels her diverse work history, such as working in dialysis, prisons, mental health, infusion therapy, infectious disease and cardiovascular ICU will help her continue to climb in her career.
