Drawing upon more than 20 years of law service, Ms. Wood has changed the lives of many clients with her work in immigration law. Victorious in numerous 9th circuit court cases, she is driven by her ideals to advocate for the underdog. She recalls winning the 9th circuit of appeals case that revolved around a teacher in Afghanistan being punished as her greatest accomplishment. Professionally, she sees herself bringing a case to the U.S. Supreme Court in the years to come. 

Ms. Wood recounts the occasion of meeting her aunt who had escaped from Auschwitz as inspiration for her to enter the immigration law career. “When I met her, I saw the numbers on her arm, but I also saw love in her eyes,” says Wood. She followed through with her intention to bring justice to the under-served by obtaining a JD from the Pepperdine University School of Law. Additionally, she is active in the American Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the Los Angeles Bar Association. She also participates in the Korean Bar Association, the New Mexico Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Ms. Wood is an honored member of The International Women’s Leadership Association, recognized for her contribution to family, career and community.
