Ms. McGregor commits herself to all aspects of her day-to-day responsibilities, whether it be researching comparable properties and compiling listing presentations or verifying property details as it pertains to lot size, taxes and utilities. “A typical day can last anywhere from 8 to 14 hours and a lot of the work is much more than just hosting and promoting open houses,” she says, adding that the most gratifying part of her work is her interactions with clients. “The educational part of my job is the fun part—showing my clients what’s out in the market and what the conditions of the market is like, that’s where it all comes full circle,” she says.

To stay at the top of her field, Ms. McGregor is active in her professional community. She affiliates with the National Association of Realtors, Michigan Realtors, Realtors Who Care and the Roosevelt Park Planning Commission. She has been recognized by her peers on several occasions, achieving recognition by the International President’s Circle and the International Sterling Society. Her most recent honor was given to her by Worldwide Branding, who named her top female professional of the year for her work in real estate. Looking ahead, Ms. McGregor intends to continue working to reach the tippy-top of her career.
