Las Vegas, NV, April 5, 2016, Patricia Rosales, Director II at the Clark County School District, has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide, for dedication, achievement and leadership in human resources and development.

Ms. Rosales’ latest position augments her 20 years of experience in the education field. In her role, she manages many tasks, such as, overseeing professional development and school improvement, assisting the school district’s administrative design team, creating extension activities and curriculum clubs and managing all operations with the school. As she provides support for human capital management services in all the schools and departments, she also works closely with principals and department leaders to resolve the issues and decision making surrounding the management. It is her duty to identify the best procedures on recruiting, hiring and evaluating staff and works with departments and committees to receive the desired results. 

With aspirations to work in education, Ms. Rosales first earned a Bachelor of Science in elementary education with a concentration in mathematics and science from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She continued her education at the university to receive a master’s degree in instructional and curricular studies with a concentration in literary and technology. In addition, she holds an educational specialist degree in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University. Her goal in education is to improve student education and she witnessed the fruits of her labor when results came in about the progress in English, language arts and mathematics.

Finding new ways to improve student achievement is part of her goals for the next few years. She endeavors to continue aiding in the success of her students and staff. Her affiliation with multiple organizations helps her stay with and on top of trends in this way. She is a member of the Nevada Association of School Administration, the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Additionally, she is connected with the National Association of Elementary School Principals, the International Reading Association, the American Association of School Personnel Administrators and the Clerk County Association of School Administrators.
