Playa del Rey, CA, March 8, 2016, Linda Groff, Director of Global Operations & Evolutionary Futures Consulting and Professor Emeritus of California State University, has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide, for dedication, achievement and leadership in international relations.

For more than 40 years, Dr. Groff has been exploring the ideology and benefits of futurism, and the impact it can have on evolution, peace, conflict resolution, interfaith and intercultural dialogue, diversity, and other societal topics. With Global Operations & Evolutionary Futures Consulting, she aims to organize and research materials on these studies with a team of clients. She provides workshops throughout the world in an effort to promote dialogue. During her time as a professor, Dr. Groff published more than 65 articles and coordinated the undergraduate behavioral science program. In addition to working at California State University, she has taught at different universities across the United States, Canada, Japan and Europe. 

Dr. Groff discovered futurism during her own studies of international relations. She started her academic career at the University of Michigan, which she earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. She continued at Tufts University to earn a Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy. She earned a Ph.D. in international relations from The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy. With a global reach, Dr. Groff speaks and understands numerous languages, including English, Japanese, Arabic, German and French.

As an author and editor, Dr. Groff has several books in development. “Evolution Evolving: Cutting-Edge Issues for Humanity and the World,” “Future Human Evolution: Perspectives from Transhumanist/Technology, Sustainability, Civilization, and Consciousness-Based Views,” are books in preparation that are based on two special issues in the World Future Review. In addition to contributing to these books, Dr. Groff attends multiple conferences that discuss concepts such as peace, conflict resolution and intercultural issues. She has presented papers at these conferences and has delivered the keynote address at several.
