Basking Ridge, NJ, February 22, 2016, Lynne Davis, Health and Wellness Coordinator for Verizon Wireless, has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide, for dedication, achievement and leadership in wellness advisement and education.

Working for a company that encourages thinking outside the box has been a boost to the success of Ms. Davis’ career. In a role where she educates and instructs her colleagues on the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle, she has seen first-hand the fruits of her labor. She coordinated nationwide on-site mammography screenings for employees, has organized blood drives, hosted annual health fairs and coordinated biometrics and flu shots. In order to continue providing the resources needed for the well-being of Verizon Wireless employees, Ms. Davis attends continuing educating workshops and annual fitness conferences. She also maintains her certifications in First Aid, automatic external defibrillator and CPR.

Ms. Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education for Adult Fitness from Montclair State University. In addition, she has taken coursework in the Landmark Education Program. She has been honored with the Heartsaver Award from the American Heart Association and contributes to several charities, including Dress for Success, Career Gear, Health Fair for Communities, Somerset County Battered Women’s Shelter, Community FoodBank of New Jersey,  the New Jersey Coalition for Battered Women and the American Diabetes Association. Looking toward the future, she intends to continue working with her husband to lead and encourage others to adapt a healthy lifestyle.
