Having worked in the medical industry under the health minister, and her husband running a surgeon association, Ms. Colbran put together her resources and opened her current business that provides medical witness consultants for legal cases. These experts weigh in on cases concerning medical negligence, personal injury and motor vehicle accidents. She acts as an agent between lawyers and doctors, as well as handling reports and coordination. She intends on growing the company and eventually selling it.

Additionally, Ms. Colbran is an expert on financial responsibility and speaks regularly on the topic. Her latest venture is writing a book on financial responsibility as well as producing a pamphlet for her speaking engagements. She maintains affiliation with She Business, is a speaker with the Confident Women’s Series, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a board member of the McDonald College of Performing Arts.
