Eureka, CA, January 29, 2016, Marilyn A. Bennett, Owner and Consultant of Next Step Global Consulting, has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide, for dedication, achievement and leadership in business management.

Dr. Bennett demonstrates expert consulting and management services and has provided them for more than four decades. Next Step Global Consulting handles a variety of consulting needs, from recreation to disaster preparedness, to life coaching and organizational leadership for parents and children. On top of providing these services, Dr. Bennett facilitates relations with county officers and teaches special education and physical education programs for children. In recognition of her work, she has received the Eudora Welty Memorial Award from the American Red Cross as well as the Volunteer of the Year Award from the American Heart Association. She serves as an ambassador representative of the United States in the World Forum and maintains affiliation with the IBC and ABI.

Continually seeking knowledge, Dr. Bennett holds a bachelor’s degree in health recreation and physical education, and motor development as well as a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Humboldt State University. In addition, she has received a master’s degree in kinesiology and psychology from Humboldt as well. She earned a doctoral degree in organizational leadership from University of La Verne. However, Dr. Bennett still receives the most gratification from working with her students and helping them solve their problems. She says her experiences as a chairwoman for Disaster Services, and traveling around the world, has helped her become a better educator.
