Fort Washington, MD, February 3, 2016, Denise Bowman, Managing Partner of Alexander & Cleaver, has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide, for dedication, achievement and leadership in legal services.

As managing partner, Ms. Bowman supervises 12 attorneys while representing clients in matters pertaining to insurance, government, energy and various corporate industries. She advises her clients on implementation and development for policies and procedures to assure ethics and campaign finance compliance.  In the 25 years of practicing law, she has been with the same firm since passing the bar exam. She recently served as the president of the Prince George’s County Bar Association. Her contributions to law in her area have reflected in recognition by the Daily Leader newspaper.

Ms. Bowman earned a Bachelor of Science in business management from the University of Maryland and a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law. Right after passing the bar she started at her current law firm, and rose up the ranks to become managing partner. She defines success as bringing her team together and fulfilling her client’s needs. Her main goal is to make a positive change in her practice and community and hopes to change the general perception of attorneys. She has won multiple awards for her work and has participated in special programs such as mock trials and intern mentorship programs.
