Recognized for her accomplishments in the communications industry, Ms. MacDonald has supplied her skills for nearly a decade. At 460 Communications, Ms. MacDonald is trusted with managing the brand and reputation of the company. She drives corporate strategy and development using both traditional and digital methods. She ensures small businesses and nonprofit organizations are set up with appropriate communications and leadership as well as promoting events, taking interviews and working with the advertising and marketing departments.

In preparation for her career, Ms. MacDonald holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing and management from Vancouver Island University. She continued to earn a graduate degree in corporate communications and public relations at Seneca College with honors. From there, she worked in the marketing and communications department at Vancouver Island University and continued to work as the communications coordinator at the Vancouver Island Real Estate Board (VIREB). One of her greatest accomplishments at VIREB was securing a contract position as a practicing coordinator with REvia, a real estate network in Canada. She has also led an election campaign for former mayor Bill McKay.

Ms. MacDonald specializes in strategizing and aligning multiple platforms. She uses her passion to drive her success and ensures longevity by keeping up to date with the industry. She is associated with the Young Professionals of Nanaimo, the CPRS Vancouver Island and the communications director of the Nanaimo Ladysmith Liberal Association.
