Ms. Boisvert’s latest position augments her 30 years of experience working in the medical field. For four years she has lent her services as the administrative assistant and moderator of the Curia and Vicar General, assisting with priest management, immigration issues as secretary to the attorney, running communications, setting up permanent deacons and overseeing two – and possibly three – libraries. This change in career allows Ms. Boisvert to utilize a spectrum of skills.
The education Ms. Boisvert has earned has aided her professional endeavors, including holding a Bachelor of Science in pre-law studies and political science with a minor in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She continued her education to obtain a Master of Science in education and library sciences from the same university. In addition to her work with the diocese, she is a member of the policy committee of the Cathedral Parish Council of Catholic Women, and affiliated with the National Association of Professional Women, Stanford Who’s Who, as well as Presidential Who’s Who and Continental Who’s Who.
Ms. Boisvert supports various charities as well, serving as the liaison to the diocese in the La Crosse Council of Catholic Women, as the secretary of La Crosse Deanery with the PCCW of the Cathedral Council of Catholic Women. She is the former chairperson of the Aquinas Education Committee and on the education committee of the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman. Her hard work has gained her the recognition of Professional Woman of the Year from the National Association of Professional Women, the Sterling Registry of Outstanding Professionals and Continental Who’s Who Registry of National Business Leaders.
