Ms. Bonardi entered the financial services industry three decades ago with a passion for working with and helping people. She has since cultivated a thorough understanding of the field through serving in a number of different roles. Her areas of expertise now include mortgage banking and lendng, underwriting, loan origination, and due diligence. She also possesses strong skills in strategic planning, team building, operations management, business analysis and process improvement.

Since July 2014, Ms. Bonardi has served as vice president of compliance for the esteemed financial services company Opes Advisors. She is trusted to oversee the company’s mortgage divisions, regulatory compliance, quality control, licensing and vendor management activities. Ms. Bonardi is noted her training skills and her ability to explain new regulatory requirements to her employees in a way that matters and makes sense to them. Known for her high energy, she is inspired by the clients with whom she works, and the knowledge that she can positively affect thousands of people through her chosen profession.

Ms. Bonardi prepared well for her career through her education. After graduating from Michigan State University in 1985, she went on to receive an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1987. She is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association. Though retirement is on the horizon for Ms. Bonardi, she feels that it will be difficult for her to leave a career that she loves.
