Houston, TX, November 6, 2015, Debra McDonald, President and Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Events & Occasions for DM Premier Services, has been recognized by Elite Women Worldwide for dedication, achievements and leadership in event planning.
Starting out in the travel industry as a consultant, Ms. McDonald never would have imagined that she would one day become the founder and operator of one of Houston’s premiere independent event planning companies. For 34 years, she has conceptualized and brought to life events large and small for corporate events, weddings and other big occasions. Driven by her passion for creating the perfect moment, Ms. McDonald handles all aspects of planning from organizing invitations, coordinating catering and securing venues to staff management, group activity coordination, entertainment and travel.
Ms. McDonald’s experience is backed by her education. She holds a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from the Texas Christian University and she is a certified minority business owner. Successful because of her positive attitude and her faith in God, Ms. McDonald believes that as a woman in today’s world “you must be devoted to establishing yourself on your own two feet.” In the years ahead, Ms. McDonald plans to continue growing her success with DM Premier Services.
