Since earning a JD from Stetson University College of Law, Cheryl Wilke has established her reputation as a responsible, reliable and engaging business partner to her clients. She brings her experience and skills to her role with Hinshaw & Culbertson, a full-service law firm with offices across the U.S. and in London. Ms. Wilke is based at the firm’s Fort Lauderdale, Fla. office, where she serves as partner-in-charge and business development partner of one of the firm’s two business transactions department. She is also involved with the firm’s executive committee and diversity committee. Her areas of practice include labor and employment law, commercial litigation, and collection and services. She handles the firm’s workers’ compensation appellate cases as well.

A past president of The Florida Bar’s grievance committee, Ms. Wilke maintains affiliations with a number of legal organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Florida Association of Women Lawyers, and the Broward County Bar Association. She has also received several formal honors in recognition of her dedication to the legal profession. An AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell, Ms. Wilke was recognized as one of South Florida Business Journal’s Influential Businesswomen in 2014, and she was named to the publication’s list of Power Leaders in Law and Accounting. Other recent distinctions include a 2014 Client Choice Award in Employment and Labor in Florida, and being selected by American Lawyer Media and Martindale-Hubbell as one of Los Angeles’ Women Leaders in the Law in 2012.
