After being inspired by her husband to take the LSAT, Ms. Havener earned her JD from Harvard University. Utilizing her expertise in legal research and writing, she has provided quality commercial litigation for her clients since 2008. During the course of her daily routine, she finds that handling her accounts payable department is the most challenging; however, she handles that department, as well as her job in general, with grace and skill.

Ms. Havener excels in her field due to a combination of her Harvard education and her prior experiences in the field. She started off as an associate with numerous law firms, including Latham & Watkins and Miller & Chevalier, and then eventually became partner at the firm of Hahn Loeser + Parks LLP, where she worked for more than a decade. A Martindale-Hubbell Preeminent Lawyer, she has been recognized many times throughout her career for her accomplishments, including being named an Ohio Super Lawyer since 2007. In order to maintain a connection to her field, she affiliates herself with the ABA, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the American Constitution Society. Within the next five years, Ms. Havener intends to bring more women into leadership positions and into the legal field in general.
