Coming from a family of lawyers and appellate judges, Ms. Nohren prepared well for her own legal career. After completing her first year of college at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., she graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University and went on to earn a law degree from Southern Illinois University. She also studied at Northwestern University School of Law.  Ms. Nohren Is a licensed mediator in the state of Illinois, and a member of the Shelbyville Illinois Greater Chamber of Commerce, Shelbyville County Bar Association, and Illinois State Bar Association.

Ms. Nohren brings her background and skills to her role as managing partner of Dove & Dove, a law firm located in Shelbyville, Ill. Her primary areas of focus include contract law, divorce, child custody, adoption, guardianship, personal injury estate planning, and probate. Ms. Nohren provides trusted legal service and consultation to a diverse base of clients, including individuals, villages, businesses and financial institutions. She practices law and civil litigation across 25 counties in central and southern Illinois.
